If you have selected a finish that leaves your item in bare un-finished steel, you will want to regularly apply oil such as WD-40 to the item to prevent rust. All other finishes are powder coated, and suitable for all environments. No additional care is needed.
Hanging your metal art
Most of our metal art is made out of 16 gauge mild steel. This makes it durable, but also light enough for shipping and hanging. We personally like to hang our pieces with small nails or sewing needles using the existing cutout (void) areas. We find that this doesn't take away from the design and hangs flush against the wall. Small holes can be added at checkout for no extra charge on most of our items. If an item doesn't have that option you can request a hole to be added in the "notes to seller" section at checkout. A lot of our customers have a lot of success using double-sided command strips. Our pieces are also magnetic!
Custom and personalized orders:
Yes, we do custom orders! To inquire about a custom order, send us a message about what you are wanting including dimensions and finish. After details are worked out, we will do up a custom order just for you.
We do not do any design work before a custom order is placed and paid for. During the design time, proofs are sent and final approval is requested before cutting and finishing. Proofs include 3 changes. Each change thereafter is an additional $5.00 charge.
Proofs will be sent for personalized orders that are ordered directly on the shop with the names or dates included in the comments. After 24 hours, if no response, the piece will be cut exactly like the proof.
Sizing details
Sizes are an approximate dimension and may differ just slightly. Dimensions may also vary depending on how the item is placed/angled on the wall. Overall dimensions are measured from the very top of a letter or design down to the very bottom of the letter or design. If you need a piece an exact size please verify before purchase.

Yes, we can do custom sizes up to 4 feet by 8 feet. However, not all of our pieces are designed to be made smaller.
